So far I have to say, Rob Chudzinksi makes a much better fan than a head coach for the Cleveland Browns. He has a serious problem evaluating talent. It started in camp when he prematurely named the teams starting quarterback and it carried over into the first regular season game when he named Oniel Cousins to start on the offensive line.

If this is the kind of coach Jimmy Haslam and his president Joe Banner thought would be the great head coach of the Cleveland Brown, they were having a problem evaluating talent them selves. Consins sucked in the first game of the regular season.

When a player sucks this bad in a regular game, you have to wonder if anyone on the coaching staff ever bothered to look at him. To suck this bad, it couldn’t have happened in one day, a guy would have to work at it for a while.

All Cousins did today was cost the Browns. He didn’t offer any run blocking and he sure in the hell didn’t offer any protection to the quarterback. It started in the 2nd quarter when cousins was flag for illegal use of his hands. He grabbed the defensive lineman’s face mask and didn’t even try to make it look incidental.

His nest infraction came at the 4:13 mark in the 2nd quarter when he was flagged for holding. It seemed like every time the Browns offense got something to go their way Cousins was flagged. Didn’t the Cleveland coaches evaluate this guy before letting him start in the NFL?

The buck stops with Chudzinksi and he should be held accountable. To let a guy start at such an important position as Cousins did when he clearly can’t play in the spot was totally irresponsible on the part of head coach Rob Chudzinski.

Cousins was flagged again in the 3rd quarter for a false start. Then again in the 3rd for holding. Why Chudzinski didn’t pull this guy out of the game, gives a  further demonstration of his inabilities to evaluate talent. Did Chud think this guy was going to get it any minute?

His penalties were killing the Browns. If this is the new Browns I wonder if we would be better off with the old ones. Half the offensive play the team ran today were just as offensive as the old ones anyways. Is it possible the team pick up one of last seasons play book by accident today?

Chudzinski has to get his head out of his ass and do a better job with who he starts…..Today’s performance was unacceptable. Both on the part of Oniel Cousins and Rob Chudzinski for putting up with it….

For me there is only one thing that would make me look at this game yesterday and be happy, and that would be that yesterday was the last time I had to see Weeden on the field in a Browns uniform.
We know the Browns are going to draft a quarterback next year, so put Hoyer in to finish off the year and put Weeden on the bench

I thought this piece was about Cousins?. I guess not. Re Cousins, LG is right. This guy cost us the game yesterday, single handedly. Stopping drives, costing us a touchdown, failure to protect is QB, were all reasons this guy should never play for the Browns again. Weeden needed more support, from Cousins and those fans blasting him today for things that were completely out of his control.

I am an out of state Browns fan. I feel sorry for all you fans that have to shell out loads of cash every year to see the same crappy product. Why did they abandon the run game. I thought Norv Turner offense featured power running to free up he passing game? Oh yea…no run blocking was present. Weedens decision making is to slow for the NFL. There isn’t a team out there that can protect for his poor decision making. I hope things get better soon but after the first week it is the same ol Browns.

WEEDEN HAS EVERYTHING GOING FOR HIM EXCEPT WHAT’S BETWEEN HIS EARS AND IMMOBILITY WITH HIS LEGS…WHERE IS THE RUN BLOCKING FULLBACK TO OPEN UP ANY HOLE FOR RICHARDSON…..COUSINS SHOULD LEARN HOW TO KNIT AND OR FLIP BURGERS, CAUSE HIS DISPLAY IN A BROWNS UNIFORM WAS ATROCIOUS TO SAY THE LEAST….CHUD REALLY NEEDS TO RE EVALUATE WHO HE STARTS TO PROTECT THE QUARTERBACK POSITION BEFORE SOMEONE GET’S KILLED

you can’t continually keep handing the ball to Richardson over and over and over. Again, you need competent back-ups and shuffle guys in and out. browns looked good in pre-season right up until Dion lewis got hurt. They never looked the same thereafter…

You think 13 carries is enough?

Chudzinski will be gone by the end of next year. Meanwhile, look what Chip did in Philly.
