The Cleveland Browns just hired Kyle Shanahan as the teams offensive coordinator. Shanahan was in a few days ago and reports didn’t favor him as the teams front-runner for the job. Today, just moments ago the Browns hired Shanahan and named him as the teams offensive coordinator.

Shanahan is viewed as a guy that can work with young NFL quarterbacks. He worked with RG3 and we all have seen how bad the Redskins were in 2013. The Browns hire a host of losing coaches to fill out the teams vacancies left from when the fired Chudzinski after just one season on the job.

Kyle Shanahan is 34-years-old. He was the youngest coach to ever be promoted to the offensive coordinator job in the NFL. At 28 years, 26 days old, he was named the OC for the Houston Texans in 2008.

Shanahan held the OC job in Houston for 2 seasons. In 2010. he left Houston and joined the Washington Redskins with his father who was the head coach.

In his first year with Houston the team finished the season with a 8-8 record. In 2009 the Texans finished the season with a 9-7 record.

In his first season with the Redskins the team finished the season with a 6-10 record, the next season they went 5-11 and in the 2012 season the Redskins finished the season with a 10-6 record with the new rookie quarterback RG3.

Last season the Redskins finished the year with a record of 3-13 record. This give Kyle Shanahan a record of 35-61 in his years as an offensive coordinator.

The Cleveland Browns have filled all of their important coaching vacancies with a bunch of losers…….

Time will tell. First task is to give him something that resembles an offense
