The Wichita Shockers are going to the final four after shocking the nation by upsetting the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Shockers played the kind of game they had to play to beat the Buckeyes. They completely out ran the Buckeyes and they out-raced them for a trip to Atlanta.

Wichita held the Buckeyes to their lowest scoring first half. The Shockers offensive attack left the Buckeyes completely confused in the game. Aaron Craft who usually plays outstanding defense looked out-matched for the entire game.

Malcolm Armstead lead the way in scoring for the Shockers, he scored 14 points in the 37 minutes he played. The Shockers took the ball to the hole a lot in the first half and when the Buckeyes tried to stop them they would find a out-side shooter and nail a 3 point shot.

Carl Hall proved how tough he is. He took a hammering from the Buckeyes but still was a major factor in the game. His defensive efforts helped the Shockers keep the Buckeyes off-balance.   The Shocker played great team basketball and they stunned the nation with the win to make it into the final four.

Cleanthony Early helped with his 12 points and the Shockers were able to get 12 points off their bench from Fred Van Vleet. The Shockers were told during the half-time by head coach Gregg Marshall,”this game will go to who wants it more.”

The Shockers took that advice and showed just how much they wanted a trip to Atlanta. Welcome to the final four…..
