The Cleveland Browns running game was almost nonexistent during the 2013 season. One big reason, could have been the loss running back Dion Lewis who was out for the season with a broken leg.

If Lewis returns healthy, which he is expected to do, he could boost the Browns running game. The Browns were expecting great things from Lewis last season.

It was just bad luck to lose him in the preseason. Lewis has the ability to hit the holes hard, he is like a Ray Rice style running back. He is fast, he is elusive and he could give the Browns a chance to be a serious threat with the run given the chance.

We saw a lot of good things from Lewis before he was lost for the season. A broken leg heals pretty well, and Lewis has rehabbed for months already.

If he comes back healthy, which there is no reason he won’t, he will give the Cleveland Browns another dimension out of the back field. He is a strong runner and he will help the Browns set up a solid running game.

Cleveland has to give him the chance of course, but they brought him in and they will obviously show what he can do when mini camp starts. If he is healthy and he runs the way he did before breaking his leg, he will be a solid addition to a depleted offensive back field.

I would try to get Bishop Sankey, w/ the 3rd pk, if available. Also try to steal Tom Cable for our O-line coach.
