For those of you wondering how long Paul McCartney intends to keep making music, it is going to be a long time God willing. McCarty just said he will never retire. The former Beatles bass player intends to keep playing music and performing for as long as he can.

In a recent interview McCartney said, he would do this for free if he had to. McCartney told WXRT in Chicago he has no intention of bowing out of the music business. McCartney already in his 70′s must be feeling pretty young.

He loves playing and writing music and that is great news for all the McCartney fans world wide. He has a new record coming out this month and his new single from that record is already being played on radio stations all over the world.

The new single is appropriately titled “New”. You will soon be able to add his new CD to your McCartney collection soon. An accompanying album of the same name will arrive on Oct. 15.

McCartney had a host of great producers working on the new album with him, they include Mark Ronson and other high-profile collaborators on the album include writer/producer Paul Epworth, who has worked with Adele and Foster the People, and Kings of Leon colleague Ethan Johns.

Nice to see McCartney still feeling the love for music after all these years….
