The NFL network is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have pulled off a trade to get Davone Bess from the Miami Dolphins. Bess, was a walk on with the Dolphins in the as an un-drafted free agent in 2008.

Reports were circulating yesterday the Browns were interested in Bess. Today it is being reported that the Browns did indeed get Bess. What the Browns gave up to get Bess, isn’t being reported at this time.

Bess played for the Dolphins for five seasons. He played in 77 games and started 33 of them. he caught, 321 passes for 3,447 yards, He scored 12 touchdowns. he also handled some kick and punt returns.

As a return man, he had 115 punt returns for 1196 yards. On kick offs he, returned 15 of them for 311 yards.

    Great move !!! The Browns brought in a player who will contribute right away and gave up very little to get him.
