Chip Kelly may be keeping things silent, but a source close to team reports, Kelly would rather start a 100% Foles than a 80% Michael Vick this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Kelly can see the NFC East is up for grabs and he doesn’t want to take any chances of falling behind. The source reports,Kelly thinks the division could belong to anyone now and it might as well be the Eagles.
Vick who is recovering from a pulled hamstring, is reporting to Kelly that he is getting better every day, but Kelly doesn’t think he will be ready come Sunday. Kelly wants a quarterback that will be able to move out of the pocket if need be.
He is concerned that Vick won’t be able to move as freely as he would like. Kelly won’t take the chance and the source is reporting Kelly will start Foles. Unless there is a miracle healing that takes place Eagles fans will being seeing Foles play against the Tampa bay Buccaneers this Sunday.
Kelly won’t start Vick unless he is 100% healthy and he can see him run without hesitation.
The chances of that happening before Sundays game aren’t very good. The quarterback will be Foles the source reports.
