Tiger Woods may have rushed back to competition a little too early. He took treatment every day for his back spasms, and he claims he is felling good. However, his golf game is a mess. Woods is trailing the leaders at the WGC-Cadillac Championship, by 8 strokes after he completed his first round.
Tiger can’t seem to do anything right, in order to get his game headed in the right direction. Woods finished his first round early this morning, carding a round 4 over par and is presently in a tie for 53rd place.
The Worlds number one, certainly is struggling with his game this year. This isn’t the way we saw Tiger start last season. Maybe it is his back, maybe it is just his game. Yesterday before the first round was halted by weather, Woods couldn’t buy a putt.
Things didn’t exactly fix themselves for Woods today either. He is still struggling to score and with the way the leaders are playing, Woods could soon find himself to far back to win this thing.
Unless Tiger gets his game together, and quickly, I am not expecting him to be in contention at the Masters this year. Tiger needs to refocus on Golf and forget everything else. Or maybe, this is the end of the dominant Tiger we once knew….
